Remote I/Os - ES300 Two-way signal repeater (peer to peer) transmits up to 66 I/O (64 digital + 2 analog) on a dedicated serial line, reducing cabling costs and avoiding signal loss on long distances
It is particularly suitable for machines with a rotating part, where the I/O signals of the control panel can be replicated on the rotating part through a slip ring.
The system is composed of a couple of modules, a "master" and a "slave"; it is fitted to transfer the input signals from the master to the outputs of the slave and vice versa, through the dedicated serial line.
Each module is made up of an ES300 device (control logic, master/slave serial communication, analog I/Os) to which can be added up to 32 digital inputs PNP 24 Vdc and 32 digital outputs PNP 24 Vdc 1A, using the ES310, ES320 and ES330 expansions.
The delay time of the signal between master and slave is of 10 milliseconds,
in other words a signal applied on the module, master or slave, is repeated on the other module with a maximum delay of 10 milliseconds.
